Mike Nease
is from Parrottsville,
TN where he is a high school teacher and
football coach. He says his favorite event is caber. He played in three professional football
leagues-NFL, USFL, Arena football, has competed in powerlifting and strongman competitions. Mike had the #1 deadlift in the nation in 2005
at 866 lbs. He held the 18” deadlift
record in 2004 at 1015 lbs. This has
since been broken. He loves to mountain
bike with his wife Angela and dog Milo.
Fall of the year centers around football, coaching and going to see his
son Steven's games at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where, by the
way, he wears the same number that Mike wore when he played there.
